Increased Precautions We're Taking in Response to COVID-19

LAST UPDATED ON 12/17/2020

As updates on the impact of the coronavirus continue to be released, we want to take a moment to inform you of the heightened preventative measures we have put in place at Western Washington Comprehensive Treatment Centers to keep our patients, their families, and our employees safe. All efforts are guided by and in adherence to the recommendations distributed by the CDC.

In adherence to the social distancing recommendations provided by the CDC, we have implemented strict protocols at our clinic to ensure the safety of our patients and staff.

  • Patients who have active symptoms of illness or a fever of 100 degrees or higher must call ahead to arrange after-hours dosing.
  • The number of people allowed inside the building at any given time is restricted based on county, state, and federal guidelines.
  • The number of people waiting in line is restricted based on county, state, and federal guidelines, and those present must maintain a minimum distance of six feet from one another.
  • To maintain line restrictions, patients are asked to wait in their cars until direction is given.

For specific information regarding these changes and limitations, please contact us directly.

Please note that for the safety of our patients, their families, and our staff, on-site visitation is no longer allowed at Western Washington Comprehensive Treatment Centers.

  • This restriction has been implemented in compliance with updated corporate and state regulations to further reduce the risks associated with COVID-19.
  • Alternate methods of communication for other services may be offered when deemed clinically appropriate.

For specific information regarding these changes and limitations, please contact us directly.

CDC updates are consistently monitored to ensure that all guidance followed is based on the latest information released.

  • All staff has received infection prevention and control training.
  • Thorough disinfection and hygiene guidance has been provided.
  • Patient care supplies such as masks and hand sanitizer are being monitored and utilized.
  • Temperature and symptom screening protocols are in place for all patients and staff.
  • Cleaning service contracts have been reviewed for additional support.
  • Personal protective equipment items are routinely checked to ensure proper and secure storage.
  • CDC informational posters are on display to provide important reminders on proper infection prevention procedures.
  • We are in communication with our local health department to receive important community-specific updates.

The safety of our patients, their families, and our employees is our top priority, and we will remain steadfast in our efforts to reduce any risk associated with COVID-19.

The CDC has provided a list of easy tips that can help prevent the spread of the coronavirus.

Learn About Us

Tacoma Treatment Solutions (TTS) is an outpatient Comprehensive Treatment Center that is a top provider of medication assisted treatment for individuals, aged 18 and older, who are struggling with an addiction to opioids. Our complete treatment combats both the physical and emotional aspects of addiction and recovery. Through the use of therapeutic interventions, as well as by implementing medications in a safe environment, patients are given the highest quality of care.

Our Treatment Therapies

Tacoma Treatment Solutions’ team of dedicated physicians, nurses, and counselors provide patients with a compassionate and safe environment in which to obtain treatment for their addiction to heroin, morphine, or prescription painkillers. Patients are provided individualized treatment as they work closely with our clinical team who monitor the administration of medications and ensure that appropriate medications are used throughout the course of treatment. Tacoma Treatment Solutions utilizes the following medications in the treatment we offer:

  • Subutex
  • Methadone

Medication dosages, as well as the specific medications used, will vary depending on the individual needs of the patient, his or her medical status, and the recommendations of the attending physician. Patients will work closely with their physician to decide an appropriate course of treatment, as well as to decide on any changes that may need to be made throughout the duration of treatment.

The highly trained staff at Tacoma Treatment Solutions feels that, in order for treatment to be effective, a comprehensive approach must be taken. By utilizing therapeutic interventions in our treatment, patients are able to openly discuss the underlying reasoning behind their initial opioid use, as well as what caused the use to continue. By pinpointing the root causes of drug abuse, patients are able to learn healthy coping skills without resorting to opioid use. Through individual counseling, patients are able to openly discuss their treatment and progress in a one-on-one setting with our qualified counselors. We also believe that patients greatly benefit from group counseling, which involve counselor-led sessions where they are able to gain support and encouragement from a network of individuals who are also on the pathway to sobriety. Tacoma Treatment Solutions offers the following therapeutic components to our treatment interventions:

  • Group counseling
  • Individual counseling

Tacoma Treatment Solutions is here to help you or someone you love beat an addiction to opioids. Our compassionate and highly trained clinical team will safely and effectively work to restore the individual to a healthier, happier, and productive life, free from dependence on illicit chemicals and destructive behaviors.
