Increased Precautions We're Taking in Response to COVID-19

LAST UPDATED ON 12/17/2020

As updates on the impact of the coronavirus continue to be released, we want to take a moment to inform you of the heightened preventative measures we have put in place at Western Washington Comprehensive Treatment Centers to keep our patients, their families, and our employees safe. All efforts are guided by and in adherence to the recommendations distributed by the CDC.

In adherence to the social distancing recommendations provided by the CDC, we have implemented strict protocols at our clinic to ensure the safety of our patients and staff.

  • Patients who have active symptoms of illness or a fever of 100 degrees or higher must call ahead to arrange after-hours dosing.
  • The number of people allowed inside the building at any given time is restricted based on county, state, and federal guidelines.
  • The number of people waiting in line is restricted based on county, state, and federal guidelines, and those present must maintain a minimum distance of six feet from one another.
  • To maintain line restrictions, patients are asked to wait in their cars until direction is given.

For specific information regarding these changes and limitations, please contact us directly.

Please note that for the safety of our patients, their families, and our staff, on-site visitation is no longer allowed at Western Washington Comprehensive Treatment Centers.

  • This restriction has been implemented in compliance with updated corporate and state regulations to further reduce the risks associated with COVID-19.
  • Alternate methods of communication for other services may be offered when deemed clinically appropriate.

For specific information regarding these changes and limitations, please contact us directly.

CDC updates are consistently monitored to ensure that all guidance followed is based on the latest information released.

  • All staff has received infection prevention and control training.
  • Thorough disinfection and hygiene guidance has been provided.
  • Patient care supplies such as masks and hand sanitizer are being monitored and utilized.
  • Temperature and symptom screening protocols are in place for all patients and staff.
  • Cleaning service contracts have been reviewed for additional support.
  • Personal protective equipment items are routinely checked to ensure proper and secure storage.
  • CDC informational posters are on display to provide important reminders on proper infection prevention procedures.
  • We are in communication with our local health department to receive important community-specific updates.

The safety of our patients, their families, and our employees is our top priority, and we will remain steadfast in our efforts to reduce any risk associated with COVID-19.

The CDC has provided a list of easy tips that can help prevent the spread of the coronavirus.

  • Avoid close contact with people who are sick.
  • Cover your cough or sneeze with a tissue and then immediately dispose of the tissue.

Learn About Us

Kent Treatment Solutions, formerly located in Renton, provides medication assisted treatment to those struggling with opioid addictions. Our programs are geared towards individuals aged 18 and older who are battling an addiction to heroin, morphine, or prescription painkillers. Kent Treatment Solutions provides all-inclusive individualized treatment to each patient that comes to us. By utilizing safe and effective medications in our treatment along with therapeutic interventions, patients are given the highest quality of care.

Our Treatment Therapies

The dedicated team of physicians, nurses, and counselors at Kent Treatment Solutions provide clients with a safe and accepting atmosphere in which to obtain the highest quality of care available. Our compassionate team works with clients individually to ensure that they receive the proper type and dosage of medication as well as the appropriate therapeutic interventions to ensure a positive and sober outcome. The medications that are used at Kent Treatment Solutions as a part of our medication assisted treatment include:

  • Subutex
  • Methadone
  • Suboxone

The specific medication used will vary between patients as each individual’s requirements and health status differ. Dosages, as well as changes in the dose prescribed, will be determined by one of Kent Treatment Solutions’ physicians.

Kent Treatment Solutions feels that in order for long-term recovery to take place, individuals must treat both the emotional and physical components of addiction. Using a comprehensive treatment approach, patients are given the opportunity to discuss their treatment, progress, as well as any setbacks that may take place with our highly qualified counselors. Once patients understand the underlying causes for their initial opioid use, as well as what caused them to return time and time again, patients will be able to gain the tools necessary to handle future situations in a healthy manner without resorting to opioid abuse. Kent Treatment Solutions also believes that patients benefit from the use of group therapy, where they are able to create bonds with others who truly understand the struggles associated with addiction. Kent Treatment Solutions provides the following therapeutic interventions as a part of its treatment to all patients:

  • Group therapy
  • Individual therapy
