Increased Precautions We're Taking in Response to the Coronavirus
As updates on the impact of the coronavirus continue to be released, we want to take a moment to inform you of the heightened preventative measures we have put in place at Western Washington Comprehensive Treatment Centers to keep our patients, their families, and our employees safe. All efforts are guided by and in adherence to the recommendations distributed by the CDC.

In adherence to the social distancing recommendations provided by the CDC, we have implemented strict protocols at our clinic to ensure the safety of our patients and staff.

  • Patients who have active symptoms of illness or a fever of 100 degrees or higher must call ahead to arrange after-hours dosing.
  • The number of people allowed inside the building at any given time is restricted based on county, state, and federal guidelines.
  • The number of people waiting in line is restricted based on county, state, and federal guidelines, and those present must maintain a minimum distance of six feet from one another.
  • To maintain line restrictions, patients are asked to wait in their cars until direction is given.

For specific information regarding these changes and limitations, please contact us directly.

Please note that for the safety of our patients, their families, and our staff, on-site visitation is no longer allowed at Western Washington Comprehensive Treatment Centers.

  • This restriction has been implemented in compliance with updated corporate and state regulations to further reduce the risks associated with COVID-19.
  • Alternate methods of communication for other services are being vetted and may be offered when deemed clinically appropriate.

For specific information regarding these changes and limitations, please contact us directly.

CDC updates are consistently monitored to ensure that all guidance followed is based on the latest information released.

  • All staff has received infection prevention and control training.
  • Thorough disinfection and hygiene guidance has been provided.
  • Patient care supplies such as masks and hand sanitizer are being monitored and utilized.
  • Temperature and symptom screening protocols are in place for all patients and staff.
  • Cleaning service contracts have been reviewed for additional support.
  • Personal protective equipment items are routinely checked to ensure proper and secure storage.
  • CDC informational posters are on display to provide important reminders on proper infection prevention procedures.
  • We are in communication with our local health department to receive important community-specific updates.

The safety of our patients, their families, and our employees is our top priority, and we will remain steadfast in our efforts to reduce any risk associated with COVID-19.

The CDC has provided a list of easy tips that can help prevent the spread of the coronavirus.

  • Avoid close contact with people who are sick.
  • Cover your cough or sneeze with a tissue and then immediately dispose of the tissue.
  • Avoid touching your eyes, nose, and mouth.

Our Treatment Therapies

When you enter treatment for opioid addiction at Grays Harbor Comprehensive Treatment Center, you’ll work in active collaboration with a team of experienced and compassionate professionals.

One element of your opioid treatment experience with us will involve prescription medication. You’ll work with your treatment team to determine which medication is best for you, and which dosage level will best meet your needs. At Grays Harbor CTC, we offer the following two prescription medications to help you end your dependence upon opioids:

  • Subutex
  • Methadone

When you take these medications as directed by your treatment team, you’ll be able to end your opioid use without developing the distressing withdrawal symptoms that would otherwise occur.

Subutex and methadone interact with the receptors in your brain that are also impacted by opioids. However, they don’t cause you to experience the disorienting high that results from opioid abuse. Thus, when you’re taking these medications as part of our comprehensive outpatient opioid addiction treatment program, you’ll be able to attend school or work, drive a car, participate in therapy, and otherwise fully engage in a healthy and productive lifestyle.

Prescription medications such as Subutex and methadone can help you to regain your physical strength and mental clarity. But achieving long-term recovery from opioid addiction requires more than this. You need to learn about the disease of addiction, address the issues that may have contributed to your opioid use, and make the lifestyle changes that will support your healthier future.

At Grays Harbor CTC, you’ll be able to accomplish this via two types of therapy:

  • Individual therapy
  • Group therapy

Individual sessions are confidential forums in which you can process your experiences and receive focused feedback from a member of your treatment team. Group sessions will allow you to share your thoughts, learn from the insights of others, and practice productive communication skills, all with the guidance of a trained professional.

Both individual and group sessions can be integral elements of your personalized treatment plan at Grays Harbor CTC. Together, therapy and medication can empower you to end your opioid use and achieve successful long-term recovery.

For more information about our services, please feel free to contact us at your earliest convenience. A friendly and knowledgeable member of our team is available to speak with you 24/7. We look forward to answering all of your questions and helping you determine whether Grays Harbor Comprehensive Treatment Center is the perfect place for you.
